What we collect
Your phone number (used to sign you in — BookThatDoctor never uses passwords), your name, and, if you choose to add them, your email address and profile photo. When you book an appointment, we record the doctor, clinic, date, time, and the ₹10 reservation fee payment. We don't collect or store your medical history, diagnosis, or prescriptions — that stays between you and your doctor.
Why we collect it
Solely to let you find doctors, hold your reserved slot, confirm your appointment, and let the clinic's reception verify you at check-in. We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for advertising.
Payments
The ₹10 reservation fee is processed by Razorpay. BookThatDoctor never stores your card, UPI, or bank details — Razorpay handles that directly. Your doctor's consultation fee is paid to them directly and never passes through BookThatDoctor at all.
Your rights
You can view and edit your name, email, and photo from your Profile at any time. To request a copy of your data, or to request it be deleted, contact Support or our Grievance Officer.
Who we share it with
The doctor and clinic you book with (so they can identify you at check-in), Razorpay (to process the reservation fee), and — only when enabled by us — our SMS provider (Twilio) and email provider (Resend), solely to send you booking confirmations and reminders. We don't share your information with anyone else, and we don't sell it to anyone.
Cookies, local storage & offline access
We use one cookie to keep you signed in — nothing else. We don't use tracking or advertising cookies. BookThatDoctor can be installed as an app on your phone; when installed, it stores a small amount of data on your device only to make pages load faster and to show a simple offline message if you lose connection — none of this offline storage contains your personal data.
Internal records
Actions taken by our platform administrators (such as verifying a doctor or processing a refund) are logged internally for accountability. This log is never shared outside BookThatDoctor.
